Why Hollah

The name Hollah is inspired by the word ‘challah’ which is a traditional bread of Ashkenazi Jewish origin, usually braided and typically eaten on ceremonial occasions such as Shabbat and major Jewish holidays.

Challah plays a key part of the shabbat meal and is popularly known inside and outside of the Jewish community – everyone loves a bite, especially when the challah is freshly baked.

Our name is also inspired by the word ‘holler’, as in to call, shout and summon. At Hollah we have Friday night dinners sorted, just place your order and we’ll do the rest so that you can enjoy quality time with loved ones and friends as you celebrate age old traditions and establish new traditions of your own.
